Eli Pita At Best Bread: Reviews & Ratings

It's the only Israeli establishment in Atlanta where you consistently hear Hebrew - and for good reason. Hidden gem - but those who know, rave about it - hands down best Israeli food in Atlanta. Truly authentic pita (plain, za'atar, onion, sometimes others), hummus, babaganoush, as well as fresh falafal and sometimes shwarma and sabich in Pita. Often with sweet baked goods as well. Limited hours, usually open Friday from 9-3, and sometimes Tuesday (I believe).

Amazing baked good and other eats! Love their cheese burekas, pita, croissants, and hummus! I wish they were open to the public on more days than just Friday.

I went on a recommendation and was thoroughly impressed The pitas are amazing I have never been that big of a pita fan but turns out I have never had a good one before now! So very good I also got the chicken shawarma bowl which was wonderfully seasoned. I am a big eater and got two servings out of it. Highly recommended!!

The best place to get all kind of FRESH made daily bread. From the fluffiest and softest pita to Ciabatta, Brioche, Challah, Sourdough and more all coming out the oven Hot and FRESH you can smell it as soon as you walk in. They have all kinds of sweet, savory and cheesey pastries. Every Friday they make authentic shawarma chicken and falafel shawarmas that melt in your mouth. Eli makes some of the most authentic original hummus you can find! The owners and staff are alway really kind and attentive to all the guest. You wont regret stopping by.

I stopped by on Friday, 5/12/23. It’s a small space, but they pack a lot of baked goods and other things in! They have challah, rugalach, vegetarian chopped liver, hummus, baba ganoush, pita bread, babka, and so much more for sale. Here’s what I got: - Chicken Shawarma Pita ($12.50): Delicious! Pricy for what it is though. Like another reviewer said, there was a lot of flour on the outside of the pita bread, but it was still good! - Falafel Pita ($8.00): Good, but I wish the falafel balls and toppings were more evenly distributed. The first half was pretty much just toppings and the bottom half was just falafel. - Chocolate Croissant ($5.50): Soooooo good. OMG, still thinking about this. I would definitely go back!

We love the food and have tried all different new varieties over the years. The owners are friendly and helpful. I am always telling people about Eli's Pita. I don't want to tell you what my favorite pastry is because I'm afraid it will sell out before we arrive! :-)
